Time To Change The Congress

Its time to change the Congress. We just can’t afford them any more. Like a light bulb that uses too much energy and is replaced by a more efficient one, we need to do the same with this Congress. Under the management of Republicans and Democrats, our country now finds itself on the door step of a total financial collapse. The dollar is in danger of crashing, home values have sunk and jobs are disappearing. Failing to see the error of their ways, politicians in both parties continue to borrow and spend away our nations future.
Unfortunately, when times were good, most people weren’t paying attention to what was happening in our government. That’s nobody’s fault but our own. History is replete with too many examples of crooked politicians and people who abused their power for us to have let that happen. And while our back was turned, the snakes were wheeling and dealing with the lobbyists. The porkers started piling on the pork. Everybody wanted a piece of the taxpayer pie and everybody was getting one. Your money was being spent as fast as it could be borrowed or printed, leaving you and your posterity on the hook to pay the note when it comes due.
Now that hard times are upon us, most people are starting to pay attention. But they are looking to the same people who got us into this mess, for a solution to get us out of it. That my friends is the definition of insanity. Let me ask you a question, if you had given Bernie Madoff all your money to invest and he beat you out of it, would you go back to him when you had more money to invest? No, you wouldn’t. That would be insane. Then why would you go back to the same two failed parties in Congress for a solution to a problem that they themselves created? Democrats and Republicans bankrupted your children, destroyed the American economy and they don’t even have a clue as to how it happened. So how is it that we expect these people to have any clue when it comes to solving the current economic crisis? We shouldn’t, because they don’t. They just keep employing the same faulty policies that created the crises to begin with, while dreaming up new ones which will surely make it worse.
The truth is both parties are to blame and neither can be trusted to fix the problem. They need to be replaced with a third party. One that is true to the United States Constitution and the principles of our Founding Fathers. That party is the Constitution Party. Its the only viable third party that can and will reverse the current crisis. “How will they do that”, you ask? Firstly they will abandon the current level of thinking that got us into this mess in the first place. Secondly they will follow the example of our Founding Fathers that built this country into the powerhouse it was in glory days gone by. A country that was free from oppressive government, a country that had a strong defense but did not set out to police the world, a country that had an economy that was second to none. A country where anything was possible, where people came to pursue their dreams, not to come get a hand out. It can all be done again. All we have to do is use the blueprint that the Founders have left us.
The Democrats and Republicans have done great harm to the very people who put them in office. They have sent our jobs away, left our borders wide open, and pursued a monetary policy along with a borrowing and spending policy that has us on the brink of an economic depression. They do not deserve your vote. They should not get your vote. They will only deliver more of the same and that is something we just cannot afford. At this point in our history every American needs to join the Constitution Party and help us take back our country and restore it to its former glory. Changing the Congress can be as easy as changing an inefficient light bulb. All it takes is the courage of your convictions to vote for candidates from a truly American party, the Constitution Party.
