Jefferson City,  Missouri, was the location of the first-ever Statewide Conference of the Constitution Party of Missouri which took place on Saturday, August 4, 2007.   What a great and successful event it was!

The big news, announced at the meeting, was that approximately 8,500 signatures have already been collected towards the required 10,000 valid signatures needed to place the Constitution Party of Missouri on the ballot in 2008!  While the deadline for submitting the signatures in Missouri is not until next summer, it is the Missouri CP's goal  to have between 15,000 and 18,000 collected and submitted to the State of Missouri by Constitution Day, September 17, 2007.  It looks like they are well on their way to reaching this goal.  Congratulations to all who have worked so hard on this project, particularly  Missouri state ballot access coordinator, Travis Maddox.

By Chuck Baldwin
May 4, 2007

I suppose there was a time in American politics when there was a significant
difference between conservatives and liberals, between Republicans and
Democrats, and between Christians and unbelievers. However, with only
limited exceptions, that time has largely gone. When it comes to the salient
issues that are currently waging war against America's future survival, it
is extremely difficult to distinguish those differences........ Read more
