President Bush’s open borders policy is a defacto merger with Mexico . Is it a quest for white sandy beaches or cheap labor? There has never been a public call for annexing Mexico , and conversely Congress has funded legislation to secure the border.
Despite a voter rebellion last summer that closed the capitol switchboard in opposition to his Guest Worker/Amnesty bill, Bush continues to unlawfully flood the country with low wage workers, allowing an estimated ten thousand illegals to enter the country daily. Since 9/11 Americans citizens are screened, scanned and photographed, but foreigners who illegally enter our country, apparently pose no threat to Bush’s Homeland Security. Read more...

Over the past several months, I have been privileged to attend (and sometimes endure) several significant gatherings of a variety of conservatives. Some of the meetings were large; others were small. The meetings sometimes featured mostly grassroots activists and sometimes very high-profile and notable conservative icons. In some of these meetings, I was allowed a platform to speak; in others, I was merely a spectator. In most of the meetings, there was a large percentage of Christian conservatives present. The meetings occurred in locations all over the country. After witnessing the philosophizing, postulating, and pontificating of the various conservative speakers (or those to whom I spoke in private conversation), I am left with the very profound and distinct impression that the so-called conservative movement is dead. It is not dying: it is dead. Totally and thoroughly dead.  Read more...

Ask almost any American what kind of government we have. Invariably, the answer will be, “We have a democracy.” For some reason, whether innocent ignorance, or deliberate semantic deception, the term “democracy” has become synonymous with the American system of government. Since our public schools have completely abandoned teaching what our country was and how it was actually founded, it is no great surprise that so few of us really understand what system of government we have and how it was constructed.   Read more...

Who Are These Kooks?
By Chuck Baldwin
December 18, 2007

According to the Associated Press, "Republican presidential hopeful
Ron Paul's supporters raised over $6 million Sunday to boost the
10-term congressman's campaign for the White House."

The AP report also said, "The [Paul] campaign's previous fundraiser
brought in $4.2 million."

According to the Paul campaign website, "In a 24-hour period on
December 16, the campaign raised $6.026 million dollars, surpassing
the one-day record of $5.7 million held by John Kerry. Read more....

More Reasons To Beware Of Mike Huckabee
By Chuck Baldwin
November 27, 2007

Many Christian conservatives see Mike Huckabee as the best candidate
to deliver the GOP from an impending pro-abortion presidential
nomination of either Rudy Giuliani or Mitt Romney. Huckabee is doing
especially well in Iowa, particularly among evangelicals. Is Mike
Huckabee worthy of this support, however? The facts say no. Read more...

Optimism and energy prevailed as Constitution Party leaders and activists from all across the country gathered in America’s heartland to participate in the Constitution Party’s Fall National Committee Meeting this past week. Read more..

As a conservative Christian and reader of much of your material, I have found it quite disappointing that the only discussions coming from Christian leaders focus solely on the Giuliani candidacy. Yes, we know that he’s about as conservative as Hillary and is a big abortion supporter…but why is nobody discussing Dr. Ron Paul? He is solidly PRO LIFE. Dr. Paul has delivered more than 4,000 babies in his medical practice and is the one and only candidate with a 100% perfect voting record according to the US Constitution. Read more...

There’s reluctance among conservatives to see the ideological flaws of the current crop of president-wannabes but unless we’re willing to line up each one of the 11 Republican contenders and strip off his 3 piece posturing to look deep into his political past, we’ll simply be fooling ourselves (again) when it comes to supporting a candidate for president.  Read more...
