Denise Neely
Denise Neely is our candidate for Secretary
of State. Missouri has been her
home for her entire life. She and her husband have raised their family of
four sons here. Denise is also a proud grandmother with four
grandchildren, and another one due this summer. Denise and her husband
live in Cedar Hill, in Jefferson County. Denise has a strong and
successful background in sales, having sold everything from telephone book
advertising to boats and real estate. However, she decided that family and
home were more important. Today Denise is a homemaker. For leisure you might
find Denise outdoors, watching the wildlife on her property, fishing, or
boating. She’s also a Cardinals baseball fan and loves to have her
grandchildren stay with her and her husband. Denise Neely raised her
sons to respect the law. As a mother and grandmother, she is quite
naturally concerned about the well-being and safety of her family. Her
belief that government needs to be accountable in these matters has
prompted her to seek office as a Constitution Party candidate: “The Constitution Party
wants our current laws to be enforced and I am passionate about this
subject. It is unthinkable that people in our government may decided which
laws they will obey and set aside laws they do not care for (immigration,
gay marriage). What chaos we would have in our country if all of us
decided to pick and choose which laws we will abide by. I want my children
and grandchildren to be safe. Without safety first, nothing else
matters. Our election laws
should be followed, but were broken last presidential election when the
city of St. Louis was allowed to keep polling places open longer than the
law allowed. I remember thinking, “That is not right!” I was not happy
about that at all! Simply put, the Constitution Party believes we should
follow our laws and so do I.”
