Christmas Greetings - Thanks and Thoughts

Please allow me to extend our deepest gratitude for your support over the years, and our Best Wishes, in and out of the Constitution Party, to our supporters, friends of Liberty and patriots throughout Missouri and America, and for a blessed Merry Christmas and Happy New Year’s holiday season, recognizing also our Thanksgiving commemoration, just recently passed.  

Notwithstanding, these annual celebrations have become heavily commercialized over the past many decades, it is still a time of year when many remember and are caused to ponder on the advent, teachings, life and ultimate sacrifice of the Savior of the World.  In a few short months, we will remember that Jesus Christ alone, had and still has the power to defeat death and hell and that He beckons us to follow Him, ultimately to where, ...My kingdom is not of this world!” -John 18:36

We should remember also that the Providence of God attended the birth of this nation.  

“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”  -The Declaration of Independence

Our Founding Fathers so recognized it again when, the Congress of the United States voted unanimously to request President George Washington to issue his Thanksgiving Proclamation.

It is with somber reflection we must also acknowledge that only with His Providence might our nation live on.  I bend the knees in this season, with you, in supplication for your well being and for the triumph of liberty as we look forward to the coming year, for if, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty,” (2 Corinthians 3:17), then the corollary must be, where there is Liberty, the Spirit of the Lord must be present.  Therefore, let us continue to

“...proclaim liberty throughout all the land, unto all the inhabitants thereof!”
